Orange Team
Purpose:
This level is meant to introduce inexperienced swimmers aged 6 - 18 to the concept of competitive swimming. The main focuses of this level are listed below:
− Building techniques, skills, endurance, and legalities
− Learning to work as a unit
− Learning to have fun with the sport without the need for commitment.
The Orange team is limited to three (3) optional meets a year (2 short course and 1 long course).
Requirements:
− For ages 6 -18 years old
− Must be able to swim half of the length of a 25-yard pool unassisted
− Minimum practice requirements
− No meet requirements

Blue Team (Includes the Hatchling group and beyond)
Hatchling:
Purpose:
This level is designed to introduce inexperienced swimmers aged 6-18 to the concept of competitive swimming. It is also designed to help increase endurance and skill levels. The main focuses of this level are listed below:
− Building techniques, skills, endurance, and legalities
− Learning to work as a unit
− Learning to have fun with the sport without the need of a high commitment level.
Although this is a starter group, there are no limits to the amount of meets that an athlete in this group can attend, except for championship level meets (unless they qualify) and beyond.
Requirements:
− For ages 6 – 18 years old
− Must be able to swim half of the length of a 25 yard pool unassisted
− Must attend 2/4 practice days minimum (with the exception of sick days and communicated absences)
− Must attend 2/7 short course and 2/7 long course meets minimum

Nestling:
Purpose:
This level is meant to build on the basic techniques taught in Hatchling groups while spending time on building endurance and strength. Time standards and goal setting are introduced here as athletes begin to strive for better times and more intense meets in their future. This group is also designed to:
- Continue building techniques, skills, endurance, and legalities
− Learning to work as a unit
− Learning to have fun with the sport while building a sense of commitment.
Though this is a starter group, there are no limits to the amount of meets that an athlete in this group can attend, except for championship-level meets (unless they qualify) and beyond.
Requirements:
− For ages 6 - 18 years old
− Must be able to swim a 100 straight through (non-stop).
− Must know all four strokes legally and proficiently
− Must attend 3/5 practice days minimum (with the exception of sick days and communicated absences)
− Must attend 3/7 short course meets and 2/4 long course meets

Fledgling:
Purpose:
This level is for kids aged 10 - 14 competing at a B-cut to Championship level who wish to compete year-round. The main focus for these athletes are:
− Continuously enforcing good techniques, skills, and legalities
− Training mentally and physically to qualify for elite swim meets
− Learning how to compete at a championship level
− Participating in regular and championship-level meets
− Learning to have fun with the sport while being competitive
Requirements:
− For ages 10 - 14
− Must be able to swim 200+ yards unassisted
− Must be able to be able to perform all 4 strokes legally
− Have B-cuts to Sectionals Qualifying Times
− Must attend 5/6 practice days minimum (with the exception of sick days and communicated absences)
− Must attend 4/7 short course and 2/4 long course meets minimum

Juniors:
Purpose:
This group is for teens aged 13 & Up who have B to A motivational cuts. The main focuses for this subgroup are:
− Strength and endurance training
− Learning leadership skills and how to work as a unit
− Working towards our elite level
− Focusing on achieving times and cuts
− Learning how to compete at a championship level
- Learning to have fun with the sport while being competitive
Requirements:
− For ages 15+
− Must be able to swim 200+ yards unassisted
− Must be able to perform all 4 strokes legally
− Have B to A motivational times
− Athletes aged 18 & 19 must have APT (Athlete Protection Training) done through USA Swimming.
− Must attend 5/6 practice days minimum (with the exception of sick days and communicated absences)
− Must attend 4/7 short course and 2/4 long course meets minimum

For athletes aged 15+ who are looking to participate in high-level meets. The main focuses for this group are:
− Strength and endurance training
− Learning leadership skills and how to work as a unit
− Participating in high-ranking meets (champs / sectionals / nationals / Olympic trials / etc)
− Training to get into college
Requirements:
− For ages 15+
− Must be able to swim 200+ yards unassisted
− Must be able to perform all 4 strokes legally
− Have Championship Cuts and beyond
− Athletes aged 18 & 19 must have APT (Athlete Protection Training) done through USA Swimming.
